An afternoon hike on Mt. Philo in Charlotte was fairly quiet in terms
of birding. Best birds were a Peregrine Falcon fly-over, Cooper's
Hawk, and a tame and approachable Veery. The only singing warblers
were Ovenbirds and a few Black-and-Whites.
