Spent the last couple three days birding the Pipeline East where it's almost too hot now (September just 122 days away : ). And yesterday had the good fortune to find 4 Black-backed woodpeckers within 75' of one another. Lot of interaction and positioning going on. Picked up my first Tick and a couple Moose and one Mink. Found the feathers of another Spruce Grouse that was dinner for some predator and saw my first Garter Snake (of the year) in the talons of a Red-tail pass by overhead. Todays list follows:
