I got to see a Bicknell's on Mansfield on the 23rd. It was $28 to drive up.
Saw the thrush right at the back edge of the parking lot for the visitor's
center up at the top of the road. You can see the precise location on
eBird. I don't know how good your chances are of seeing it without playing
a recording--I'm not too experienced with that. Maybe in a week or two
there will be more of them up there. A pair of British birders happened to
be there when I was, and used a recording. They seemed to be very sensitive
with it. Just played it a few times, at a low volume. And once we got our
glimpse, didn't keep playing it there.
