In spite of strong northwest winds and temperatures in the low forties, two Willow Flycatchers were present and calling in an Alder/Willow shrub swamp.

Common Loon  3     Adult and juvenile together.  One loon seen later overhead.
Willow Flycatcher (Eastern)  2     Alder/Willow shrub swamp. In response to 
"pishing" one bird seen and both birds heard several times calling "whit".
