Our 25 mile BBS route through West Rutland, Pittsford and Brandon this morning produced some nice birds:
American Bittern (4)
Great Blue Heron (five in a 'kettle' not far from known heronry)
Virginia Rail (2)
Black-billed Cuckoo (2)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (1)
Cedar Waxwings (lots)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (1)
Warblers included Ovenbird, Black-and-white, Common Yellowthroat, American Redstart, Chestnut-sided, Black-throated Green and Northern Waterthrush.
Individual eBird lists submitted for select locations.
