Each of the last three mornings while doing critter chores between 5:00
and 5:30 two Common Snipe have zoomed past seemingly going from one
abandoned pasture to another. We live on the sourthern end of Snake
Mountain in Cornwall, Addison County.
Also heard a juvenile White Throated Sparrow during this morning's twilight.
Monarch butterfilies seen throughout the day the last few days at a rate
of 1-4 an hour. Wasn't searching for them, just noted them while doing
other things.
