For a non birding day it couldn’t have been much better. Adult Bald drifting above Route 2 in South Hero on my way home from the pharmacy, a mile later it was a Red-tail above Route 2 by the big dairy farm, then tonight the Great Horned. Probably 2 decades since we’ve had one right here. The Northern Flicker was working at the suet feeder when we got up this morning. I’ll take the cold weather if this is what it brings..
