Spotted one working its way east along the stream and old millponds that
drain Lake Paran, 2:45 PM. Have caught glimpses at Harriman reservoir in
Wilmington, but this was my first ever good look in Vermont.

If you're local, I stopped at Nahanco to watch. Returned c. 3:15 PM and
drove up and down, including the lake, but couldn't find it again. A flock
of ducks on one of the millponds had disappeared, however...
