On Tuesday, Jan. 10, the Green Mountain Audubon Society is sponsoring a
program entitled "Bear Necessities" featuring Tom Decker, Bear Biologist for the
Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. Tom will speak about the natural history
of the black bear in Vermont and how people and bears can live together to
sustain this important wildlife population. The program will take place at 7
PM at the Carpenter-Carse Public Library in Hinesburg. The program is free and
all are welcome to attend. If you have questions or would like more
information about this program, please call Caryn Gronvold at 862-7772.
