At the risk of questioning the poster on this, multiple sparrows looking like the 
Chipping at a feeder right now are way more likely to be the American Tree 
Sparrow.  I often look for the dot on chest to confirm this.  Chipping Sparrows 
at feeders, would tend to be solitary, even if extra early, right?
