While walking w/ my pooch this early and humid evening at Mills Riverside
Park in Jericho, I spotted my FOY B Oriole.
While up in the woods I heard a strange sounding Wood Thrush w/ an
introductory whistle like a Cardinal. At first I thought it was a different
bird but it sang like this for at least 10 min.  No, it was not a Hermit
Thrush if that's what you're thinking. . Definitely a WT.
I'll send a voice file to the listserve so you all can listen.
