This morning on Chipman Hill in Middlebury, I found 22 Ovenbird, 9 Black-and-white Warbler,  4 American Redstart, 1 Northern Parula , 2 Blackburnian Warbler, 8 Black-throated Blue Warbler, 1 Pine Warbler, 3 Yellow-rumped Warbler , and 5 Black-throated Green Warbler. Also my first of year Great-crested Flycather.

And, not birds, but there were also 70 Eastern Newts along the trails taking advantage of the first wet morning in a long while:
