Hi Jane, people are seeing Snowy Owls at Killington, see other posts on this listserve. Also, the Vermont Birding Facebook page has some really beautiful photos and sightings throughout VT. Herricks Cove (near Bellows Falls) is about a half hour from Ludlow, you may see waterfowl and a few raptors there. Ludlow is part of the Ascutney Mountain Audubon Chapter, google them for info as well. If you join the VT Birding Facebook we would love to hear your sightings! Pam
