The Northern Hawk Owl reported the past two days from Waterbury Center was easily visible at around 8 am at the same location as yesterday, 120 Gregg Hill Rd. The bird was perched atop a dead tree right on top of the road, a couple hundred meters or so from Rte 100 down Gregg Hill Rd- very easy to find from that location/perch. 

It was a cozy -17F out there this morning- even this boreal species was looking a bit ruffled.
