I was gathering wild leeks in a sugarbush in E. Montpelier this morning when
a Wild Turkey flushed from 10 feet in front of me. I soon noticed the nest,
cosied against a sugar maple trunk. What an impressive mother bird and what
impressive eggs! These are large animals!!! This link should get you to some
