The Islands CBC was held on December 20, 2015. We had a total of 64
species, which is low -- our high species count is 77, and our average is
67. But due to a record 84,500 Snow Geese reported in Point Au Roche, we
shattered our old record of 28,305 individual birds with a new high of
95,044 individuals.

We had a Ross's Goose as a first-time on our count. We had record high
counts on Hooded Merganser (270), Northern Harrier (8), Peregrine Falcon
(4), and Red-bellied Woodpecker (5).
