I was walking today on the Devil's Chair trail at Mt. Philo. I was walking at the base of a rock face when a large black bird began croaking from above me; it continued, following me from tree to tree, for about 100 feet. After about a half a mile, I found that trail a bit too much for me and decided to turn back to the main trail; this time two birds croaked at me through the same area. Based on the size and calls I think they were ravens, and the behavior surely seemed like there was probably a nest nearby.
