Sunday afternoon we were out in Hartland-6, not specifically for butterflies
but keeping our eyes open. We were startled to see a Hackberry Emperor
puddling in the sandy soil between a corn field and the edge of the woods.
While both of us got good looks, it flew up into the trees and I was unable to
get a photo.

There were some hackberry trees in this spot, so we'll be going back to look
for it again when and if we get sun again.
