After a hiatus, Farm to Plate & the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food &
Markets brings together farmers, food manufacturers, store buyers &
distributors to develop a stronger awareness of how to gain sales.

The event is organized around a panel of topics from seasoned businesses,
followed by topical “round table” discussions and a “mocktail networking
hour”. Farmers with retail or contract growers, store buyers and key staff
receive excellent information on local products, distributors share
insights for onboarding and product availability and food manufacturers put
this together to best understand the who, what, where, when, why of local
food sales through distribution to retail stores and third-party platforms.


Several food manufacturers seeking local ingredients from farmers will be
in attendance. Also in attendance will be two former produce managers of
City Market in Burlington with plenty of time to talk shop during 'round
table' & 'mocktail hour.' Emerging farm-based brands are encouraged to
attend to make connections & provide exposure to your products.

provide a list of registrants the week of the event so you will know who is
