My daughter got a teaching job (I'm still paying for the degree) in a
crowded class full of reasonably difficult early to mid teenagers in 7th
& 8th grades but with math skills of about 4th grade--remedial math--my
kid is holding her own but inexperienced & of course no one available to
help her--all the teachers are strapped with gihugic class sizes etc
etc--kid asked me to ask librarians for help in getting hold of some
math games, word etc of 4th-5th-early 6th grade levels to teach these
kids (a few really want to learn) about processes---like, retracing your
steps to work out the answer ---any suggestions appreciated--Nancy
