I'm sorry Tony, I thought we were talking about the student/college dilemma,
it seems to have turned into something else.
The ARRT has a few different requirements in their CEU which we that are
registered in that also have to comply with. I guess it just is something
that you do if you want to keep your registries active. It is a choice that
one makes, if you don't want to maintain the active registry status then you
don't have to comply. They are two different registry agents with different
requirements. It's simple, either comply with both or drop one. I worked
hard for both of mine (ARRT and ARDMS), I think it would be foolish not to
comply and drop one just due to the fact that you have to get a few more
credits for one of them.
As far as the college goes, I think you should take it up with them and then
get upset, it seems you got upset first and are taking it out on people that
did not "write the rules" for that college. I still don' t get the fact that
a student needs to obtain CME/CEU. You'll have to let us all know what the
college says when you contact them.
