Paula, We bill for the limited carotid, (actually now a left or right
carotid) but unless you do them as a 2359 (ie:op) then it falls under the
DRG and you actually don't get anything extra for them. However, please
don't let that prevent you from scanning intra-operatively. If you only
find a single defect that gets repaired and prevents a CVA, you pay for
doing it the all year.
