We video tape and print. We most often use the video tape in correlation -
it is always much more supportive than a print for demonstrating noninvasive
findings as well as for our surgeons and interventional radiologists. They
are really the only people who want to see our work, either for
interpretation or additional information. We save tape for 5 years - but I
cannot recall getting a tape out of storage (more than 1 year old) for any
reason. We also use tape for the other reasons Pat Marques mentioned.
