After a great deal of discussion about Problem Tracking Software, a
decision has been reached to purchase Footprints by Unipress
Software.

For those of you who helped to evaluate the software, thank you very
much! For those people who were not part of the evaluation process,
Footprints is web-based tracking software that aims to make campus
computer support easier.
The other products that were evaluated were:
ESP (Expert Support Program) by CustomerSoft Inc. http://www.customersoft.com
Action Request System by Remedy Corp. http://www.remedy.com
Footprints was selected based on its functionality, broad
flexibility, and very competitive pricing. In the next several
weeks, we will be setting up the product at the Helpline and
preparing it for campus-wide use. It is our hope to have it ready
for campus-wide use several weeks before the Fall semester begins.
