Does anyone know Prof. Turner? Is anyone in touch with him? It is not clear
from these articles what is really going to happen at this meeting. I think
it would be a good idea for anyone who is planning to attend to get in touch
with Turner and any others who plan to bring up this issue and see how
they want to handle it. Otherwise there may be nobody at the meeting that
wants to unite with or even welcome a progressive contingent. That may not
be a reason not to go, but without making some contacts inside the AGM,
you stand the chance of alienating potential friends and allies which is
probably a big mistake.
