I have previously been in touch with GovNet personnel re the slowness of
our internet connection and following is a response that I just received
from an earlier email. Thought everyone might be interested in it.
Here is Pat's response to a school complaint yesterday.
Also, we are adding 3T's to our internet connection tomorrow or the next
while the problem is being worked on. So, we are progressing.
I will keep you posted.

I just spoke with GovNet on the telephone and they are all set on their
end for the add't T1s. They are waiting for Adelphia. Ray will contact
me when they are active and I will forward it on to everyone. Hopefully
these new T1s will give GovNet enough bandwidth and make a difference for
all of us (that is unless part of the problem is that Adelphia's pipe is
also fairly full!).
