Peter-
We are using one 13KVA (8.5 KW)UPS to support both the 252/Kiel and
Delta+/EA. Under full load about 20 min. We are running all instruments on
single phase 220 the UPS will allow you to bump it up to 240V or you can
use separate transformer(s) as needed to increase the supply to the
instrument(s).
Our unit is over 2yrs old now so the cost has probably changed. Our UPS was
part of the lab construction so the cost was about $10 - $12K and we didn't
really have any say on the vendor only the specs. Keep in mind large
capacity units are big. We had to be creative on finding a place to put it
so not to get in the way. There are a number of brands out there ours is
made by
HV Series Model: HV13000
Controlled Power Company
1955Stephenson Hwy
Troy, MI 48083

If you look on the web you should find a few vendors to choose from. Good luck
Cheers,
Dave
