Jason,
I've had good luck getting "demo" models through Fisher Scientific once and
Neslab themselves once. Whether you can accomplish this again remains to
be seen.
Note also that they have several different cooling arms avaiable and if you
are flexible about which arm to use, they may find that they do have
something in stock after all (I've been through this as well).
Neslab is very very slow but I have not found an alternative. I will be
very interested if anyone else has!
The good thing is, their stuff works. We have two units running through
the winter in central Greenland!
