Greetings to everyone. I'm new to the list and new to education. Started
last July as the IT specialist for the Rivendell Interstate School District.

I am implementing a Netware 5.1 solution here at Rivendell.  Basically we
have 3 locations which should be tied together in one NDS tree, 1 or more
servers in each location.  Owing to problems with Verizon, one site is
currently a castaway. The other two are linked via a DSL circuit which is
how one school has access to the 384k frame at the other location. The 384k
frame came up just last Monday and I have great need to get our Border
Manager server up to start controlling and monitoring traffic.  Any
suggestions on setup of that server?

I am especially interested in better understanding desktop management. I
have a mixed environment of Win9x and Win2k stations, with a few Macs. Each
classroom has at least 3 desktops and students have access to computers in
virtually every room.  The Zenworks starter pack is installed and the
workstations have the NW client Management module loaded. I'm struggling
with providing consistent and appropriate access to printers and welcome any
recommendations anyone has regarding use of policy config, roaming profiles,
etc.
