Hi everyone,

   The first new faculty candidate Scott Thibeault will be spending the
day here tomorrow 2/15/2001 and it would be very helpful if students could
attend the following events & critique the candidate:

2:00 pm a talk on "The Domain Specific Language Approach and it's
Application to Networking" in Votey 105: remember he's trting to make a
good impression, this lecture should be good stuff! =)

5-6:00 pm an informal meeting time for students to meet with the
candidate in Votey 301.  I'm sure the requisite cheese platter will be
offered but don't hold me to it.

This is an exciting time when we get to help pick a new faculty member, so
please try to make a spot in your busy schedules to get an idea of how
you'd like to have this candidate here permanently.
