Dear FlowNetters,
Below is a message SVT has received from a high school student interested in
studying vascular technology. I will answer her and provide some
information but I thought some of you might want to also. Please remember,
she is not on FlowNet so replies should be sent directly to

Subject: In search of layman information on Vascular Techology
Hi, I'm Becky Ernstrom and I have decided to do my senior project ( high
school) on vascular technology because I am majoring in that at Oregon
Institute of Technology next fall-2001. I have to write a 3,000 word paper
and need 15 sources with 7 of them being from academic or medical journals.
I have found 5 sources that are okay but I need help locating more. I have
been to the Oregon Health and Science University Library (OHSU) but am not
able to really understand the books. I need something that has an overall
view of the job. Does anything exist like that. The librarian and people
in
the field say it's too new a field to have books that explain it in that
manner. This next week (President's Day week) I have to come up with the
other sources. Is there any way someone could direct me so I don't have to
change my subject. Please e-mail me with any suggestions. Thank-you Becky
Ernstrom
