I'm not familiar with the medicare terminology. Am I right to assume when RVU for a carotid is 0.60 that means 60% of an hour or 40 minutes? Also, I use 93990 for scanning Dialysis grafts or fistulas. Is this what everyone uses? The title for this on the spreadsheet I downloaded is "Doppler Flow Testing". Why is this not a duplex and why is the RVT so small? These take at least an hour because very few do not have complications.
