I'd suggest being very careful here since the language specifically says the
school must "filter or block". If this product doesn't filter or block, but
rather monitors, then to me it doesn't appear to fulfill the requirement.

I read about a new device in my SLJ 7/2001 called esniff. The device does
not block or filter rather it monitors and lets school officials know when
the acceptable use policy may have been violated. the product will be
presented to the FCC to see if they feel it satisfies CIPA requirements.
Trial schools have been happy with it. More info @ www.esniff.com. What do
you think?
