Are you interested in developing WAP services, assessing audio and video quality
in real time comms, computer mediated communication and new developments in
mobile computing?

Joint British-French Conference on Usability Engineering, User Interface
Design and Human-Computer Interaction offers the following:

10/9/01 A half day tutorial by Didier Chincholle of Ericsson Research Sweden, on
Designing Highly Usable Mobile Services for Small Display Devices.

10/9/01 A half day tutorial by Angela Sasse of UCL and Jim Mullin of Glasgow
University on New Techniques for Assessing Audio & Video Quality in Real-Time
Interactive Communications.

12/9/01 A full conference paper session on Computer mediated Communication.

13/9/01 A full conference paper session on Mobile Computing.

There are a host of other activities, tutorials, workshops, invited speakers and
conference papers, as well as the opportunity to meet European colleagues and
potential research collaborators from a wide variety of research areas.
