That starting today and throughout the month of October, the University
celebrates and honors Deaf & Disability Awareness Month.  Now in its fifth
year, Deaf & Disability Awareness Month is a month-long series of
workshops, speakers, and activities aimed at heightening awareness and
increasing knowledge of deafness and disabilities in both the University
and the broader Burlington community.

We invite you to join us today at noon in front of Royall Tyler Theatre as
President Colodny initiates Deaf & Disability Awareness Month at our
Kick-Off Rally.  Additional invited guests will also be on hand to share a
few words.  Hot dogs and veggie dogs will be provided.
