Here is my first question for the group - I'm sure it won't be my last.
I am working with a Delta Plus Mass Spec and an NC2500 Elemental Analyzer
for Carbon & Nitrogen analysis in biological tissues.
One problem I am constantly faced with is the failure of the autosampler.
As such, I am currently only using one 32 sample tray on the AS128
Autosampler and re-filling it through the night (not so automated). I have
to adjust the "tray stop lever" on a fairly regular basis (the "pin" won't
jump over the teeth to pull the autosampler into place). I would like to
load up three trays and not have to return.
My question is this. How often should someone have to adjust their
autosampler and has anyone got any suggestions as to why my autosampler has
caused me so much trouble? (I guess that is really two questions)
Thanks for your input
