UVM's Banner Student Information System (SIS) will be unavailable on
Tuesday, December 4, 2001,
from 1:15am to approximately 7:30am
while the Giraffe server is undergoing maintenance.
This will affect all forms of access to the student information system:
 Web access for the UVM Course Catalog.
This includes everything found by going to the UVM
home page and choosing "Academics".
 Web access for course info, class lists, schedules,
This includes everything on the Registrar's web pages,
found by going to the UVM home page and choosing
"Offices and Services", then "Registrar's Office";
or by going to:
 Telnet or dial-in to giraffe for Banner SIS.
Touch-tone registration and Web course registration will not be
available during this time.

656-2604. As usual, once Banner SIS is again available, usage and PIN
questions should be directed to the Registrar's Office,
