Today I received a wonderful birthday present. A group of 30 cedar waxwings
landed in an apple tree in my back yard. Being a deligent birder I grabbed
my binocs and searched for the "unusual-surprise" bird they say to always
look for. Well, low and behold among the flock were two bohemian waxwings
which were a life bird for me. What a great birthday surprise!!
Also thank you for responding to my request for directions. They were
excellent.
