While at my folks new house in Alburg (just south of the old bridge), I was
able to watch a female American Redstart singing away. She went back and
forth accross the yard several times and did a fantastic display for my
My parents have quite a few residents, I identified 23 and had a few I
couldn't see but could here or I just wasn't able to positively identify.
They have a pair of House Wrens in a rickety old bird house that are
succesfully raising a brood! Catbirds on both sides of the house along
with fast moving warblers (lol). What a wonderful flurry of activity all
day long. They seem to have dozens of song sparrows in the neighborhood.
I didn't bring the scope so I couldn't really check out to many of the
birds on the lake... maybe next time.
