Hike/scramble up to the ledges overlooking Colchester Pond - and as we sat on
the ledges, an adult bald eagle flew below us (a truly unusual angle to watch
this bird) and then nonchalantly right in front of us. We'd heard a redtailed
hawk yelling and yelling a few minutes earlier, we think from about where the
eagle took to the air. Maybe the eagle was threatening the hawk's nest?
