No luck finding the reported 3-toed Woodpecker on South America Rd/
Rte 105. Did see a pair of Black-backed Woodpeckers and a Hairy nearby. I
know there was a study of woodpeckers in that Wildlife Mgmt
Area. Were 3-toed found then? The 3-toed is a nemesis bird for us, and
we'd sure try regularly, if they are a breeder there.
