As you probably already know Tinmouth Channel has been nominated as an IBA.
It was tabled until more data became available. The VT Important Bird Area
(IBA) Program will be looking at Tinmouth as well as 7 other wildlife
management area IBAs over the next 2 years. We will be developing avian
inventories and mapping significant sites within the WMAs (i.e. osprey
platforms, monitoring point locations, etc.). This information will then be
available to folks managing these sites. I'm hoping this information will
also enable us to finally designate Tinmouth as an IBA. Any information you
gather would be most useful. Thanks.
