The shorebird abundance soared at Brilyea on Thursday. Birds were scattered
across the entire impoundment, owing to the regular visits by an immature
Peregrine Falcon.
Alas, I had so little time to spend there and blew through like the wind.
So I'm certain my list is incomplete. (This might also have something to do
with my obsession with the dragonflies at Brilyea right now.) And I'm even
more certain that my counts are highly speculative. (I really dislike
counting birds.)
