All:
If anybody is interested in following up on the Miami Blue Butterfly
Restoration Project (MBBRP), check out the information attached below. This
project, established in 2001, is a consortium of many people of diverse
talents, professions and skills, and a variety of different organizations
and groups. Though many NABA members are participating, NABA itself has not
officially supported the MBBRP, and has launched its own initiative. The
goals of the MBBRP includes researching the needs of the butterfly,
searching for new populations, educating the public, promoting the planting
of the hostplants, and ultimately employing the help of breeding facilities
in hope of increasing its numbers. Check out the links listed at the end of
this message.
