    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   328 AM EDT Tue Oct 8 2002

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   Today: North Wind 5 to 10 knots. Waves 1 foot or less.
   Tonight: North To east wind around 5 knots. Waves less than 1 foot.
   Wednesday: South Wind 10 to 20 knots. Waves 2 to 3 feet.

   The Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.68 feet. The water
   temperature was 60 degrees.
