    LAKE CHAMPLAIN MARINE FORECAST

   National Weather Service Burlington VT
   339 AM EDT Mon Oct 14 2002

   The Lake Champlain open waters forecast.

   A Lake wind advisory is in effect.

   Today: Northwest wind 15 to 25 knots, becoming north and diminishing
   to 10 to 15 knots this afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet, subsiding to 1 to
   2 feet.
   Tonight: Light and variable wind, with calm water.
   Tuesday: Wind becoming south 10 to 15 knots. Waves building to 1 to 2
   feet.

   The Lake Champlain Lake level at the King Street ferry dock was 94.56
   feet. The water temperature was 58 degrees.
