Dear list members,
The Chlorine, Bromine Facility, part of the Applied
Geochemistry Lab in association with the Environmental
Isotope Lab at the University of Waterloo is planning to buy a
Thermal Ionization Mass Spec. and we would like to know if
people (other than the manufacturers’s reps.) have any
comments about the two different TIMS in the market (Triton
and IsoProbe-T).
We are planning to use the Mass Spec. to analyze Cl, Br, Ca
and Sr isotopes.
We are interested in finding out about your experience with
either/or both machines including machine capability,
sensitivity as well as the reliability of the software.
Any comments or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance for your contribution.
