Rick,
We have had superb results with Merck Chromium Powder Patinal (< 0.3 mm), a
1 kg bottle. This product was recommended in an early paper on Cr reduction.
We mix it 50/50 with quartz chips.
Its product number 112997 at www.Merck.de or see

I cannot find a web catalogue and price for this product lately. Perhaps
someone else has a better link?

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] Chromium
Chromium is being mentioned quite a bit lately.
What are your sources for the chromium?
Specs (particle size, %Cr, %O), part numbers and approximate prices would be
appreciated.
Thanks
Rick
