Hi Peter,
We design and build micromilling devices that offer 3-D sampling
capability with submicron resolution. This feature is particularly
useful for sampling materials like molluscs in that you don't need
to section them. The section preparation isn't the problem, it's the
loss of potential sample material (slicing material from a section
vs. milling from a whole fossil). You can learn more about the system
