I have never lost voters completely (they were still in the database), but
I have had one that would not print on the checklist. I was aware of the
problem because the computer left a blank space where their name should
have been. This also has happened with a different voter when I tried to
enter election data - the space for the name was blank on the screen, but
the computer left a space for that person, and they are in the database.
Curious.
